Meg Heath Dog Leads & Collars is a web shop selling dog leads & collars, which was created by Sarah Gleave in October 2006. I wanted to subsidise my income doing something that was dog related. I already ran a small, busy rescue centre rescuing English Springer Spaniels and ran dog training classes in the Lincoln area.

In January 2008 I took in my last Springer & I wanted to do something that was home based. The Meg Heath Dog Leads web shop continued alongside the opening of my refurbished Boarding Kennels.

My experience with dogs goes back to 1993 and with rescue, dog training and dog boarding kennels experience you can be sure that your dogs' lead and collar is being made with experienced hands.

Our Head Collar was created after using & testing all the popular head collars we know in the pet trade today. Its wider fit and soft webbing coming in many bespoke colours is a popular choice in our range of dog leads & collars.

In a nutshell, I make anything with webbing from 12mm to 25mm. If there is a colour not listed, there is a fair chance we will be able to source it, please ask or even send a sample of the colour you are looking for. I also have a saddler who does all my leather work for me. Nothing is pre made, even the popular long lines, because you have a choice of length, colour and fittings. People sometimes like to ring me to describe what they would like making and ask for advice on the best product for their dog.
