Boot or Car Restraint
Car Boot Restraint

Car safety is an important factor when travelling with your dog.  Many dogs are lost through not being secured in the boot etc. It is so much easier to open your boot and see your dog safe waiting to be unclipped. If I had a £1 for the amount of people I have seen struggling with their dog when trying to get it out of the boot of a car, I would be a rich woman.

The boot restraint is a essentially is a double ended short lead, coming either in set lengths (see choices below) or as an adjustable lead (not listed, please ask if you would like an adjustable boot retsraint and give lengths).

The Boot / Car Restraint is a short double ended lead, either made to measure or adjustable. I have decided to stock the adjustable Boot Restraints, they measure apx 50-75 cms, which should pretty much cover most requirements. If you would like one made to measure then please feel free to ask.

But remember when asking for a longer lead, the point is that the dog is restricted and a lead that is too long means that the dog can get out and possibly hang.

Some cars, however don't have decent anchoring points, so give me some idea of your car design and i will make one that is designed specifically for your car.

Picture shows 2 leads.

Attach one end to the D rings or anchor points on the boot floor, ensuring the lead is short enough to ensure the dog stays unable to jump out or over the back seats.

This ingenious car restraining lead is ideal when you have either a new dog or a dog who may run off when you open the boot. Too many times I have heard stories of people with newly aquired dogs, who have darted out of the car - never to be see again.
