I made this lead to solve a dog walking problem, made to use with a Gentle Lead or any head collar without a safety clip.

This is a lead I made for myself that addressed some issues I had with dog walking. I wanted a lead that I could use with a Head Collar where safety was an important factor.
So the solution was to have a lead that attached to the dogs neck
collar and a head collar that didnt come with a safety clip like the Halti - I wanted to use it with a Gentle Leader.
It also had a handle with a clip that I could either use as a handle or clip to a walking belt or maybe even to another dogs' lead. The handle on my prototype was snug - smaller than your regular sized handle that you might find on other training leads.
The image to the left shows the head end of the lead, large clip for the collar and small clip for the Head Collar. The image on the right shows the handle. The main image to the right of this page shows the whole lead. I made this in 25mm width black cushion polyprop webbing.
